altered portraits
1- The hardest portrait that i struggled with was the hand colored black and white. i struggled with it the most because i thought it was hard to keep it looking nicely. keeping myself inside the lines was hard especially because it was on the computer. i was going to try and do something different with the picture like adding some flowers but i couldn't make it look nice, which i think if i practice some more and play around with things i can make it work and make my photos look nicely.
2- the easiest portrait for me to make was the cracked paint. i thought it was the easiest because you basically only had to look for an image of cracked paint and add a layer to your image. i also thought it was cool putting a effect like that on a person, making the look like they are cracked/ falling apart.
3- to a viewer an altered portrait just means that it is a picture of a person, with no significance. to a photographer an altered portrait is also a picture of a person but it is much more than that. an altered portrait is defining something that changed in which the portrait is something new of you because for the most part something changed of you. a photographer will make sure the picture will look nice with good quality and detailing some parts of you.
4- out of the 8 altered portraits that i created i will most likely do again is the collage. i think the collage altered portrait is really fun to do because you can go over beyond of creativity. i would do that one because i honestly thought it was one go the most fun to create because you can literally do something you don't see around a lot.
5- the historical significance behind the black and white colored altered portrait is that back than colored photography wasn't a thing yet; most of the part for you to have some color on some images people would paint things on the image while the rest of the image is still black and white. in which they would do such a great job because the colored wouldn't like really bright, they would blend in with the image and be some nice soft colored.
6- i think it is important to know how to do altered portraits for in the future. a lot of the kids in photography will automatically try to shot some people not knowing what they are doing and not focus on the main ideas of the person they are shooting, that is why in class they teach us a lot and I've us plenty of practice and knowledge for when we shoot an altered portrait.
7- i don't think all portraits should be altered because sometimes not everything is new on a person and the meaning behind altered is something new about the persons appearance. in which i don't think all portraits should be altered.
8- by altering a portrait it allows us to get all the new qualities of the person that is being photographed. it gives us a chance to hide things and also add new things to the image in which we try making the photo look better by just being fixing the lighting.
blur motion
1- blur motion is an image of a subject that is moving in which you capture the movement of your subject and makes it look blurry because your subject is moving. sometimes when your doing blur motion photography you can tell that there is a main focus in your image a spot in which nothing is moving.
2- for a blur motion photography you will need a slow shutter speed in which that caches the movement but since the camera has a slow shutter speed it will make it look blurry. sometimes you will also need a tripod to stay steady, so you won't move while you're trying to capture the movement of the subject.
3- my subject in this situation would be a person, i think with a person it can be the most fun because they can literary do anything that includes movement and you can capture a very neat picture. you can use cars especially at night to catch that perfect blur motion in this situation capture the car moving away and you can catch the headlight of the car in which would make it look like your perfect blur motion picture. animals you can catch them doing just about anything from walking, running, playing etc and get that blur motion picture that you would like.

In this image you can see that tis is blur motion, you can tell just by the water that is falling into the strawberry. this is blur motion because the main focus on the image is the strawberry which there is no movement because of how clear it is. the water falling onto the strawberry looks like a nice mist in which that is what the photographer is trying to make you think.
this image was taken as blur motion. this image seems to be outside with some people in the background. the main focus in this image is the kid because you can see him very clearly. this kid might be at a park for what it seems that he is riding something that speeds at the playground.
this image was taken probably at an amusement park. they were probably riding a ride in which they took the image while riding it. on the image you can see the people on the swings fine especially the first 2 girls and the rest is a blur but you can pretty much tell that they are outside with some trees and probably some grass.
this image is blur motion in which was taken outside in the city, you know it was taken outside in the city by the bus or tour bus that is passing by, another reason that you would know that this image was taken outside would be by the telephone stand thing. you know its blur motion because the bus is blurry and the telephone is the main focus in which is not blurry at all.
on this image you can see that it is blur motion, you know that it is blur motion by being able to see the hand movement. this image is also black and white. your main focus on the image is the guitar its the main focus because you can see it clearly. on the other hand the hand look blurry and you could see the movements the hand was making by the photographer slowing down the shutter speed of its camera.
blur motion is this image, this image is in black and white. the blur of this image is the women that is walking across the place in which they took the image. the main focus on the image is everything else around the blurry girl. i like this image because even if the girl look blurry the photographer still captured the movement.
on this image you are capturing a dog that is probably looking outside of some window and the dog is probably in a moving car or some sort of thing. this image is blur motion because the main focus of this image is the dog and you can pretty much see the dog clearly. on the other hand you can see the dogs surroundings clearly but you do know that it is probably outside and to catch the blur motion they just had something moving and the main object stayed in place.
on this image you can capture a blur motion know by looking at the image your main focus on here is the shopping cart you can see a clear picture of it here. the blur motion in the image is the iil the person is shopping at because it all looks pretty blurry. you now that they are shopping because with starters there is a shopping cart and it just looks like they are at a store.
this image was taken to see blur motion. as you can see the image is probably of a dancer who is on some sort of place probably her house. this image is considered to be blur motion by the dancer, the dancer was moving her skirt thing in which gave it the affect of of looking blurry. the rest or the surrounding of the girl is clear in which is the main focus of the image
this image is considered to be a blur motion. this is blur motion because the girl is riding a train and is looking outside but you have a clear image of the kid. on the other hand everything else's blurry and what i mean of that is the trees are blurry and the floor which seems to be just dirt probably.
this image is to be blur motion. you can see a piano and some person on the image. this is lack and white. you know that this image is blur motion by the person who is paling the piano because they are moving there hands fast and the photographer capture the movements of the pianist. the main focus is the piano itself because you van see a clear image of the whole piano
on this image it is considered to be blur motion . on this photographed you can see a waterfall so this means this image is outside out side on nature. this image is blur motion because the waterfall is blurred in which is giving an affect of the waterfall looking misty. and the surroundings of the waterfall you can look at it clearly.
this image is blur motion. on this image you can see a girl in the middle in which she looks clear so there is no motion to the image. in what it looks likes the little girl is holding an umbrella and moving it around in which it gives the affect of motion and it blurry because of the motion.
this image is considered to be blur motion. as you can see there is a girl on the photograph. the way this is blur motion it is because the girl was moving her head but her head also looks clearly. the blur motion on this is the side of her head in which some part of her head looks like its fading away.
this image is blur motion. as you can see there is a skateboard in which you can look at it clearly. the blur motion affect here is the rode in which they are skateboarding, it looks like that because the skateboard is moving in which looks like the road is moving.
this image is considered to be blur motion. as you can see on the image there is a train passing buy in which is giving the image a blur motion effect. the part that looks clear might be seats for when the people sit while they wait for the train.
this image is considered to be blur motion. the reason in which this is blur motion is because they have one main focus and that is one of the bicyclist. the rest of the image is a blur because they are capturing the movement in which is the reason in why it is blur motion.
this is blur motion because of the bicycle. as you can see on the image the bicycle is moving but it is the main focus of the image. they're probably outside because there is a road and plants. the blur motion in the image is the road and plants because you can't see those things clearly kite you can see the bicycle.
on this image you can see the obvious of blur motion. it is blur motion because you can see that the photographer was capturing the movements of the dancer in which is giving the affect of blur motion. this is a great demonstration of blur motion.
this image is blur motion. this is blur motion because of the dice, when you look at this photograph you know that the main focus was to get the dice. the blur motion effect on here is the movement of the dice in which the photographer captured.
on this image it is blur motion. this is blur motion because you can see the movements of the dancer, you can see plenty of movement on the image. but the main focus is the dancer in which you can see her clearly.
this is blur motion. this image is blur motion because besides the mirror you can see a car passing by but the cameras captured the movement of the image. and the mirror you have a clear image of what is going on.
on this image it is considered to be blur. it is because beside the main focus which is the person on the middle of the picture, everything else that is surrounding the person is blurred and the camera is capturing the movement of maybe some stores so he might be at some plaza place.
this image is considered to be blur motion. this image is blur motion because the focuses of the person are the cat and the mouse, in which you can see there head clearly but there legs look blurry. what the camera is doing is capturing the movement and i think the camera might be modeming with the cat and mouse.
on this image it is considered to be blur motion. the reason in which this image is blur motion is because the main focus here is the person riding the bike and the surroundings is just a blur. i believe to make this image like this the camera person was moving with the one riding the bike in which maid this image look this way.
still light
i picked this image because i really like how the eggshells looked, when you look at them the tup shell starts off at a very light color and the more you add to the bottom the shells get darker. which all of this depends on where you have the lighting.
i picked this image because i just thought it was really cute. i thought it was cute and creative, the thought of making the rose pedals seem like ice cream was very creative yet simple. i honestly just really like the idea.
i chose this image because i thought that it was simple yet creative. the fact that the flower fit perfectly with the sun is the best part of this image. this is a very pretty photo.
this image attracted my eye when i saw it, at first i took a double look because i didn't really know what i was looking at. but when i new what i was looking at the first thing that popped into my minds was an idea, to convince people to get ideas of how we can help this environment.
this image called my attention because of the the shades of brown colors. this image is simple yet very thought out to make it seem more than what it is. i like this image because of the pine cones, used to collect pine cones when i was smaller and i now just like them.
the dark colors of the image called my attention and i also took a double look when i looked at this image because i couldn't understand it which is the reason why i chose this image.
this image is super creative. they made this image seem like the fish are actually in the sea and i just think that is creative. i don't know if the person that took the image was just doing this for the photo or just playing around either way this image turned out to be really cool.
i chose this image because i really like coffee it is my favorite drink. and i really like how they had this set up. this image kind of seems like they're promoting coffee and I'm not mad about it .
this image is very nice. when you look at this image you think of being relaxed and vintage, this is exactly why i chose this image because i think we all just need sometime to think and relax in our time and enjoy the little things that were given to us
i chose this image because of the colors that are in the image i honestly really like the dark colors and i like how they added the orange or lemon because the colors are still dark but the fruit still makes it brighten up but it is still with the dark colors in which attracts the human eye.
i chose this image because i really like pomegranates and the color of the fruit attracted my eye which is why i chose it. and i honestly really think this is a really nice image . the images are dark color which i like the dark colors on this image.
this image is such a nice image because you can only see the side of the mug but with the shadow that there is the handle of the mug looks like a heart and i believe that is the main focus of he image. i really like the color yellow mug it is such an appealing color.
for this image i chose it specifically for the colors. on this image i really like all the colors and i like the combination of them because you have some of everything. and i honestly think this is a very nice kitchen image.
i picked this image because this literally looks like a rainbow but with plants. i just thought that the thought of this image was very creative and outgoing which is the reason why i choose the image.
for this image i picked it because i thought that it was creative and something not a lot of people would have thought about. i really like the fact that on an ice cube they just put a flower on the ice so i am guessing they made the ice themselves to make the ice seem like that. the black background gives the ice cube more attention which is a good things because it is the main focus.
i picked this image because i liked all the vintage things that were added of the image, they just added random things and put it all together to look like maybe a desk decoration of some sort. i honestly just like the vintage things on the image.
for this image i chose it because i really liked the fact that they used kitchen materials to make a simple little chicken. this is honestly a creative image and i feel like a kid would have really enjoyed seeing this more.
i like the thought of this image, when you first look at this image you just ask yourself how did they do that like how could this happen, but when ou do look at the image closer you can see on the bottom that there are other cups that were just alined to give it an affect of the glass getting smaller but you can still see everything else.
for this image i honestly just chose it because i like the idea of using just one color but what i really did like was were her hand was put it looks like it is wax and it is dried up but it also looks like she's just putting her hand in like if it was water. anyway i really just like the creativity of the image.
i truly really like this image for the color it is dark colors combined with lighter colors and i just think that the combination couldn't be better. what makes this image better is the fact that there are flowers on the image. truly the only reason why i chose this image is because i really like flowers i just think that they're all pretty
independent project
for my independent project i decided to do a rain effect kind of thing. which is when a person is looking through a window and its just raining on the other side. i decided to do this because i thought it was something we haven't done in photography, and i would be able to experience more things in photography and go out of my comfort zone to be more creative.
2- for this project the way that i would shoot this would is by getting a frame and spraying some water, since i can't control the weather that will have to do. and i would just get a model and just make them look through the frame which will just pretend is a window.
3- for this project i will mostly need a model, a frame. water spray thing, to be the afternoon to get the sunset in the image and lastly a camera to shoot with.
4- i am going to shoot this images at my house and outside of my house, this is because i want more of a natural lighting which is why i mostly want to shoot outside. also to catch the sunset at a perfect time.
5- i wanted to try this kind of photography because i thought that it wasn't we hadn't done in class and its something out of my comfort zone so i am able to experience new photography techniques on my own and maybe i can make something out of it.
